Literary Tidbit of the Day

Mary Shelley started writing Frankenstein when she was only 18.  Similarly, S.E. Hinton wrote The Outsiders while still in high school. (In an interview in the back of my copy of The Outsiders, she actually says: "That [the year she wrote The Outsiders] was the year I got a D in creative writing.")
